These recipes are for babies 6 months +. Always dilute all essential oils before applying. Never let your children ingest oils. Once kids reach the age of 10-12 you can start to use oils on then as you would for adults, start out in small amounts and make sure they are not too sensitive to them.
1. Lavender Oil – Healing Lavender oil has anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties. Use it to sooth and calm as well as for first aid, sunburn, and to boost immunity. How to apply: mix 1-2 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil and gently apply to injuries for cuts scrapes or burns.
2. Roman Chamomile Oil – Relaxing and Calming It’s gentleness makes it valuable for restless children. How to apply: Mix 3 drops lavender and 3 drops chamomile with carrier oil. Massage onto sore gums to sooth teaching.
3. Tangerine – Digestive Support This is a great one for sick tummies. It is very supportive of digestion. It’s also uplifting and freshening! How to apply: Combine 5 drops Chamomile and 6 drops Tangerine with 2 tablespoons with a liquids carrier oil. Gently rub into a few drops of the mixture onto the stomach when sick.
