DIY: Moisturizing Cuticle Cream

We just had a cold snap here in the northwest, and you know what that means, dry hands, dry face, dry nose… so I thought it was about time to whip up some super thick moisturizing cuticle cream.

Even though this is meant for your finger tips, this cream is so lusciously moisturizing, I usually end up slathering it all over my hands, lips and face.

Have fun moisturizing! 🙂

Base:
2 Tbs Shea Butter
1 Tbs Grapeseed  Oil
1 Tbs Vit E Oil
1 tsp Argan/Rosehip Seed Oil

Essential Oils:

Recipe #1
3 Drops Lavender
3 Drops Myrrh
3 Drops Melaleuca

Recipe #2
3 Drops Lavender
3 Drops Geranium
3 Drops Rosewood

step 1. In a double boiler combine all the base ingredients. Heat on medium temp until the shea butter is melted, mixing occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool completely. (Do not add the essential oils yet.)
Step 2. When completely cooled, mix in the essential oils. After completely mixing in the oils, add it to any cute container you have around the house. Be sure to add a cute label too!!
